Indonesia’s aviation expansion plan lifts off!
Dear industry colleague,

We’d like to share some good news with you which could be beneficial for your company in 2016.

Indonesia Transportation Ministry will open 230 new flight routes to remote areas and establish new airports in 11 locations this year, according to state budget plans. The ministry has said it aims to develop 100 airports to accommodate jet aircraft by 2019. In addition, Minister of Transportation Ignasius Jonan said that as part of USD billions of dollar allocation on safety and infrastructure, the Indonesian government will also upgrade facilities at existing airports across issues such as runway capability, resurfacing, new facilities, air traffic management (ATM) as well as safety and security boosts.

And here’s the good news - Airport Solutions Indonesia, as part of a global series of events, will be the only industry specific platform for Indonesia's aviation industry that you can interact and develop relationships with key people from governments, domestic and international industry players. The event will be this year’s leading civil aviation forum in Indonesia, where innovative solution providers in the airport and aviation industry will showcase the next generation of technologies to enhance safety and security as well as shape the end-to-end passenger experience.
